It's Time Wladimir Klitschko Hires A Real Trainer. Who?

Wladimir has basically been training himself since Manny died. Win or lose, there is no way Wlad would have turned in such an awful performance with Steward in his corner last weekend.

Klitschko raising his hand after the fight definitely indicated that Banks' telling him he needed a knockout simply didn't get through: he either was listening to Vitali or was disregarding Banks' opinion.

If Wladimir is going through with the rematch, he needs to ditch Banks, stop training in a goddamn luxury resort, and get the fire back. Rocky III style.

Who should train Wladimir Klitschko in his effort to regain the titles?

Freddie Roch? Robert Garcia? Adam Booth? Apollo Creed??

Maybe, but don't you think it's a little late for that? Realistically how long would it take him to find and gel with a trainer? I'd say at least six months to a year...unless his brother decides to train him.

        Freddie Roach just ruins fighters
Robert Garcia just looking for beer drinking buddies
Adam Booth just content with being hayes gay friend/trainer

I'm not sure anyone can coax him out of that style he's adapted. That first Sam Peter was the final nail in the old style of wlad. After that his offence became more and more neutered. He takes zero risk and I can't see anything, or anyone, changing that.

Sorry but when exactly did he have "fire"?

                    He's always fought like that.

I remember him tentatively pawing at cruiserweight non puncher Eddie Chambers for damn near the full 12 rounds and Steward constantly begging him to let the big shots go.

                    "This is another Ibragimov!"

He never lets the right hand go unless he's completely safe. Usually after jabbing a tired smaller opponent to death. He couldn't get his jab going at all against Fury.

I thought the 12th against Fury was his best round, he definitely went for it in that round so I don't think you can blame Banks.
