Whenever I see the words " fixed fight", Mayweather vs Ortiz is the first to pop up in my head.

Why?

Mayweather-Ortiz and Fury-Klitschko both featured two fighters who were losing badly try to billy-goat headbutt their opponents.

Doesn't sound like they were in on the "fix".

There are a few bouts that I believe were rigged. Bradley-Pac 1, Martinez-JCC Jr, and a few others. The same with some football and basketball games. There is way too much money surrounding these events to not have a controlling hand manipulating outcomes.

This is the truth on "fixed" fights. Have their been fixed fights in the history of boxing, sure. Back in the day you had criminal organizations involved and still do in some cases and it happens.

The problem is with a fixed or rigged fight is, you need to have a lot of people involved. Not trying to sound like the guy who is in the boxing biz and coming off like I know everything, but I have worked many fights and not once was I ever paid off, or seen anything sketchy.

I think the types of fixes we see, is the officiating. Meaning there are fighters that are the money earners, and will get the benefit of officiating because of pressure from the commission. So they will get wide score cards or even robberies.

Canelo wasn't a robbery, but there's no way Cotto didn't win more than 1 round. Even though the right person won, the scorecards were a disgrace. Klitchko and Fury wasn't a fix, it was two sorry ass HW's doing what they always do and that's be sloppy, hold and be inactive.

The only one's that got robbed were the fans that wasted their time watching that bull****.

Maybe I'm looking deeper into this, but I think this really hurts Klitchkos legacy. The reason I say that is because when he faces someone of size, someone that has equal advantages as he does, he doesn't know what to do.

I mean, I didn't even see the man throw one right hand until round 4. WTF was he doing? He should be ashamed of that and I can't even imagine being the trainer in there, having to look at the tape again.
