Wilder sux. He is not even the best American heavyweight right now, i think Jennings is better.

A lot of hate towards Wilder just because he's American and signed to Haymon. Wlad is old, gun shy, and has always been one dimensional and chinny, it's not hard to see that Wilder could stop him. Hell, Wlad has been stopped by fighters not as gifted or good as Wilder and this was when he was young.

With all due respect mate I don't think you really understood what Fury did to Wlad in there. Wlad didn't just decide to stop throwing shots for the hell of it. He was made to go into a shell by Fury's tactics, and by the worry that Fury would counter him if he overcommitted. Wilder might well beat Wlad, but he'd do it in a very different way. He'd need to be relentlessly aggressive and unorthodox and throw all caution to the win in order to secure the KO. He simply doesn't possess the experience or intelligence to box Wlad into a shell the way Tyson did. By keeping to a high punch output and hoping to outspeed Wlad he could very well achieve a similar effect, but he'd be putting himself at much more risk than Fury.

Wlad looks shot to hizell honestly. Fury should have finished him but played it safe. Good for him he won.

No question Wilder would have been more aggressive and probably rewarded with a stoppage. A shot fighter just can't react in time to counter and gets beat to the punch consistently. Someone with Wilder's speed would just eat him up at this age..
