I want to gamble big on Jacobs, but he looked frail at the weigh in.
If he's anywhere near his best, I feel he will beat Quillin to the punch for the majority of the fight and may end it in brutal fashion. Make no mistake, Jacobs can punch just as hard if not harder than Quillin.
Jacobs didn't look all too bad in the video. He looked confident and hungry for the win. I would love nothing more tonight than for him to knock Quillin out cold.
I wonder if Jonathan Oquendo can upset Cuellar who didn't look too good against the ghost of Vic Darchinayan but Oquendo also beat the ghost of jhonny Gonzalez. Solid fight starting the showtime slot.
If Jacobs drops Quillin it's over. I don't see Quillin able to come back from adversity, I know he got dropped by Lee but he was lucky there wasn't a lot of time left in the round. After the KD he went into passive mode and let Lee win rounds.
Watching the Wilder press conference I just realized the Barclay Center CEO - Brett Yormark is the twin of Roc Nation CEO - Micahel Yormark. Small world for the elites. Michael's also CEO of the Nets who also use the Barclay.
