Golovkin/Lemieux was a unification fight involving the best fighter at middleweight. It was clearly a bigger and more important fight than Jacobs/Quillin, which is a decent fight between two top 10 middleweights.

And how exactly are either clearly better than Lemieux? Jacobs has beaten nobody, and Quillin has never looked any better than Lemieux, ever.

Lee-Saunders is probably a more significant fight at MW.

GGG is much more important than Quillin or Jacobs. he is on p4p lists and is HBO's 2nd biggest name. K2 are much better promoters than whoever is promoting the Quillin/Jacobs fight.

It is a good scrap and I'm looking forward to it. What does the winner do? Nothing really. Its why I'm not real excited for the fight. Both guys are probably going to end up at 168 after this fight. Almost certainly Quillen, anyways.

No way in hell does Quilllin or Jacobs have better resume than GGG.

Lemule and Qullins resumes are about even.

Jacobs resume is sad, no top ten wins for Jacob at all.
