Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury-Wladimir Klitschko: Post-Fight Report Card

    The next wave arrived.

Whether Tyson Fury holds on to the crown for a bit, or loses it right back to now former champion Wladimir Klitschko, the Klitschko era of dominance is over. He’s not getting any younger and the young guys are only getting better.

For those who have enjoyed Klitschko, if not for his fights than for his class and professionalism, Saturday was probably a little melancholy. For those who grew tired of a fighter whose clinching was so ingrained he treated Eddie Chambers like Eddie Shavers, it was a sigh of relief.

C'mon, Cliff. How does Wlad not get straight F's across the board?? This was the worst HW title performance ever viewed by ANYONE in the history of the recorded sport. God awful in every possible category. You have rendered your report card completely irrelevant and farcicle with this issue. If Wlad get's B's (and one A+!!!) then there can be no such thing as C's or below. You should make it clear to the reader that B is the floor. Better yet, stop writing these dumb Report Card articles. They are now, more than ever, meaningless.

I think Fury and Haye will never happen. Fury is rightly mad at Hayes for pulling out twice and he if legit injuries were hard on him. Was out of meaning fights for 18 months. In that time he had a stay busy fight. It is understandable that he actually does not want to give Hayes that opportunity.
Interesting to see where he goes from here. I was always impressed the way be beat Chirsora the second time. He is awkward and Klitschko looked lost being the smaller man in the ring. He like to keep people at arms length. Which he could not do.
Well done Fury but actually a boring fight and seems that heavyweights have lost the WOW factor.

Wlad needs to get rid of Banks. If Steward was in the corner he would have been screaming at Wladdy.

Wlad threw the fight screw your report card

Wlad threw the fight utilizing the huge odds in Wlad's favor to defend against the Fluff Fury to generate multimillions in Macau and Hong Kong and in Monte carlo off of side bets with a Fury upset. Many are left wondering why but $50 million speaks loudly for a 40 yr old C0mmie about to retire soon. Smart move on Wlad's part throwing the fight to a huge slow ****** non athlete clumsy soft Oafish clown who cannot punch and is a laughter in Fluff Fury. The Ukraine needs millions for arms. It's logical and true. Wlad threw the fight for millions of rubles. Vitali was in on it also. Remember they are both communists. Granted the Bearcat lost his $10,000 wager on a sure Wlad win but even Vegas was left scratching their heads over the number of bets placed on Fury to win the fight outright.

I might buy this except for the fact that it glosses over the fact that Wlad can't actually fight for **** and him losing to a big, awkward goofball isn't really that crazy.

I was thinking the same thing, as I was watching the fight.

I've been screaming for Wlad to get rid of Banks for a while now. Maybe he needs to get Roach or someone in there, but please get rid of Banks.
