Froch is the one who was left with the impression that Golovkin is considering moving down in weight to fight Canelo at a catchweight. That's why Froch feels they don't want to fight him at 168 right now.

My main point still stands, though. If GGG accepts the fight with Alvarez at 155 that will be worthy of respect.
Im still torn on it. Part of me wants to see GGG take the 155 and bash Canelos face in. The other part of me wants GGG to stand on tradition and tell Canelo to kick rocks and fight at 160 or vacate.

Problem is, that when it comes to "promotional rights", very little is actually up to the fighter. It will be K2 making the decision, not GGG himself.

Which tells me that if there is the slightest chance GGG can make 155 and still stand upright, K2 will take it.

I hope lying Ggg does turn down canelo and fights Andy Lee on ppv and get 57 ppv buys this time. He ain't got sht to bring to the table but his shty FCS/division 2 high school boxing resume. 35 years old, 9 and 1/2 years as a PRO and Martin Murray is the best fighter he's fought??? With Andy fkn Lee #2????

          So, if it looks like a duck, and sounds like a duck . . . . .
I don't call out any fighter for ducking (well, I admit I may have had a few words to say about Quillin not fighting Korobov) so maybe my criteria are different to other posters', but in my world being 'open to offers from anyone from 154 - 168' does not imply a promise to make the fight each and every time such an offer is received, irrespective of circumstances.

I know by now that you seem to be allergic to FACTS, but this is a pretty easy one. He's 33, not 35.

Ohhh!!! Can't forget about Pepe Lemuix who I NEVER heard of before was shoved in my face like he was 1985 version of Mike Tyson! Went to casino to make a lil $ and saw pepe was the equivalent of buster Douglas+holly holm+New York Yankees winning a Super Bowl under dog.... = no chance in hell

I wouldn't be so sure. I remember reading an article awhile ago that was going into details of Golovkin's issues with his German promoter. Somewhere in there was a quote from him saying he will never let anyone else decide his fate again. His career got derailed by 3-4 years because of his previous promoter, I would hope he learned his lesson.

Ok! Thanks for correcting me on your lovers age! My bad so I was off by 16 months??? But is resume still looks like an amateurs. Fk Loma, rig., Gamboa combined have almost as many fights as ggg does total and their resumes look lik HOFamers compared to ggg dog sht resume!

Heres a hint though: If you stop posting outright lies, its alot harder for other posters to clown you.

                      Just a thought......
