You dumb ****, Canelo isn't a 154 fighter, and there is no such thing as the 155 division.
Saying I'd go to 154 to fight a JR.MW for big fight is not saying I'll let the Lineal MW champ of the world drain me to his made up weight division--only to watch his ass balloon up to 175 fight night.
I bet you if GGG pulled SMW's down to 161 to fight for a unified title fight, and lineal, you would be calling him every name you could think of.
And if Canelo can out box him, wtf does he need to pull him down in weight for.
And why did Ward wait to speak up until he knew GGG had moved on? He had a month or so when they offered a fight, Ward was crickets until he found out GGG had Lemieux and this mandatory. Slick move by the S.O.G., he knew team GGG would go towards the bigger prize.
For God's sakes Ward can't even make a fight with two scrubs from the division below him, how the hell is GGG expected to trust he'll make a fight with him.
He told Frich right to his face unified fights with Canelo and Lee are his goal, above all else. I watched the video, they were not shy about it.
He also said GGG is a small MW, and that coming up to 172 was probably not in the cards. Why would it be. Fighting guys at 168 is a possibility.Last edited by Progrssive_Jedi; 11-30-2015, 05:29 AM.Comment

GGG isn't making moves based on what a MR. Lawsuit, Injury prone, headbutt, arm holding has been like Ward is doing. Seriously, this guy even box anymore, or does he just talk about it?
They offered Ward a chance, he was all crickets until GGG landed bigger fights. Then Ward is all game, knowing damn well the game was over.
I'm sure they know Wards excuse now is he has moved on.Comment

Ward would suddenly be injury free and no longer signed to fight Kovalev.

The fight was ruled out when Froch retired.
Last week in an interview it was James DeGale and Carl was happy to gain some exposure for his sponsors.
This week at an informal coming together it's Golovkin and Carl is happy to shoot the breeze, keep his name out there and cast his shadow towards a smaller fighter's career.
Next week it'll be Khan's turn and then we can start the whole verbal merry go round once again from the beginning.Comment

I think Froch meant to say Light-heavyweight in this interview, because he mentioned 172 to Loeffler on IFL, not 168. Loeffler backed away from 172.
I don't think Froch comes back though, he'd be ****** to do so imo.
If he managed to do it, there's nothing to gain from beating Golovkin at 172, people will just say he's unproven at LHW, too small etc.
It makes more sense to win a LHW title, whether it's Stevenson or Kovalev.Last edited by Weebler I; 11-30-2015, 06:27 AM.Comment

Must have been watching a different video, cause in the IFL video:
1) It was Froch who ruled out 168, as he would be too weighed drained. Instead he proposed 172 which was shot down.
2) they told him that canelo and Lee unifications were a priority at the moment and if they couldn't those fights, they'd consider fighting FrochComment
