Comments Thread For: Fury: I Was Iffy, I Said 'Please Don't Rob Me Here, God'

Tyson Fury insists he is just a 'normal person who got lucky' to become the new world heavyweight champion and is relishing a rematch against Wladimir Klitschko.

The 27-year-old Fury shook up the sport on Saturday by securing a unanimous points win over Klitschko to snatch the Ukrainian's World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) belts.

He actually said "Please God don't rob me in this ***ing country"

I really thought they were going to stitch him up. Went crazy when the decision was announced.

I wish Buffer would say "And NEW!" though instead of this new thing where he announces the country the winner is from.

But in all seriousness boxing judges are some of the most inconsistent, corrupt, and downright awful human beings in all of sports. For any professional athlete to have to their fate in the hands of boxing judges is something that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. I've witnessed so many judging atrocities it's surpassed my memory bank.

Buffer seemed oddly unhappy about Fury's victory.

when u feel this way u know u didnt do enough..i do not like klit but that doesnt not give me any reason to not be honest..this was a horrible fight that frankly could have went either way bc both of throw 5 meaningless punches per round.

said that the ring combined over 14 feet and 500lb of mankind yet yielded a cotton candy sweet as gold let me see that tootsie roll type of fight..

tyson fought to survive and do a points job as the bigger fighter..and klit has always been a stinker..

sorry boxing, but this is your hw division..NOT ACCEPTABLE

i blame the boredem on both fghter..vlad is a clincher, but fury was coming into smoother as a defensive tactic instead of punching vlad will he chin was wide open....but when he did punch while vlad took his mummy stance he all most ko'd him with two big left hooks..that made the fight even worse bc he proved he could do it all along bt he didnt...such a corny fight..vlad needs a retirement package and fury might need dental work and health care if wilder explodes on him
