At this point I'm just losing respect for Abel. There's literally another thread on the front page that says Loeffler turned down the fight with Froch at 168. I understand that he wants to hype up and build up his fighter, and there's nothing wrong with that.. but come on, he's taking this too far.

In my opinion, if this fight were to ever happen [Canelo ducks and BJ wins], it would be at 168 contracted, Golovkin would come in at 163, Froch would miss weight and come in at 171, and no one would give a crap because it's the best fight available.

But being objective, I can tell you that if indeed K2 abandoned the unification path, and did a Froch fight at 172, I will be calling BS right beside you.

And guess what? That wont be happening. Froch is retired, and trolling you fools. Abel knows it. Loeffler knows it. Maybe soon the GGG Hate Squad will put 2 and 2 together as well.......

It should be pretty obvious by now. Loefflers been saying exactly that for about 2 years now - Unify at 160 unless there's a big PPV in one of the adjacent weight classes. It ain't like this is news. It just so happens that since Cotto beat Maravilla and GGG became mando by beating Rubio there's been the possibility of unifying and getting the big PPV at the same time so they've been gunning for that. Ain't rocket science.

The statement makes it clear that unification is not the goal. K2 and GGG have already given every indication they are not committed to the unification path if they can land a big money fight.

You talk more about GGG being white than you do what he and his team say. As usual with GGG and his team if they didn't open their mouths there would be nothing to comment on.
