It's a mismatch and just in case it's close, it's in Germany

Wlad gets zero credit for winning this fight

Those are the lightest hitters youll find around.
        McCline

= Decent Power - No skills - Lost to Zuri Lawrence

        Ray Mercer

= Way out of his prime - It took him 6 Rounds to take out a 44 Year old Mercer - Mercer was a handpicked opponent not a mandatory

        Francois Botha

Tell me one worthy opponent Botha has beaten? You cant because he has'nt beaten any!

Didn't Briggs KO Mercer in less than 6 rounds?

Fact is, Byrd isnt the guy he used to be. He lost his speed and age is catching up to him. If Wlad doesn't beat Byd impressively, he'll be a laughing stock of the boxing public, bottom line. He's beaten him befo impressivly. Byrd has ****** eva since.
Exactly, the man is washed up. Just look at his last 4 fights.

Fres Oquendo, was robbed against Bird

Andrew Golota, this fight was a draw & many thought Golota won

Jameel McCline, SD win for Bird, again many thought Jameel won

DaVarryl Williamson. UD win in one of the worst fights I've ever seen.

I'm not saying Bird will win, beating Bird doesn't prove ****!

In 7 rounds. But it was a KO no stoppage.

what's sad is, after this fight is done, Wlad could move up to become the #1 guy at Heavyweight by his fans' admission. He shouldnt get credit fo this win at all, bottomline.

I dunno, I think this will be a big victory for Wladimir. Even though this is a total mismatch, this will mean alot to the heavyweight division as Byrd is the longest reigning heavyweight titlist. After the confusion that Brewster-Lyakhovich created, this win will put Wladimir back at the number 1 or 2 spot at heavyweight. It depends on where you rank Toney and Rahman.

The comparison to Foreman Frazier is that Foreman blew Frazier away esasily, even though Frazier was a superior fighter who had beaten better opposition, because Frazier had a style and size that was custom made for Foreman.

Byrd may be made for Wladimir but that still doesn't change the fact that Wlad deserves credit for beating him. He's one of the top tanked heavyweights currently.
