It's a literal mathematical certainty. Over time, you will always lose money on sports betting due to the bookie spread.

And floyd is an uneducated man, so its not like he is employing mathematical techniques to win. He is going to flush a large part of his fortune down the drain.

You think floyd just wings all of his bets and picks who he likes? He probably has betting consultants who give him plays

There's a difference between book smart and street smart. Floyd is street smart.

                  Exactly.

You ever hear him talk about sportsbetting? People who think he doesn't know what he's doing are mistaken.

He talks about things like not betting the full game, but betting the halftime lines depending on gameflow and betting prices. He understands the concept of placing a good bet.

I'd be willing to bet a lot of his thought process behind the Fury bet, is that he felt like the odds were wider than they should have been. Turns out he was right. Really, really right

Holm was around the +600 to +700 area.

Retired undefeated former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather won big, taking home an easy $22,800 after betting $4,800 on the underdog.

Fury dominated the fight from start to finish, keeping Klitschko confused and at bay with his feints, stiff jab, and constant movement. Klitschko never really looked comfortable and seemed hesitant to engage, even when his corner advised him that he would need a knockout to win. In the end, the judges scored the bout 115-112, 115-112, and 116-111 all in favor of Tyson Fury.
