Imam did risk his mandatory status, so why shouldn't Granados get a shot?

He Should Get An Eliminator At Least

I doubt he automatically gets a shot at Postol. But I think he deserves at least an opportunity to get a title eliminator shot.

My guess he will be in the running for a title eliminator shot with guys like Lucas, Vargas, Herrera, or Orozco.

Any of these guys would be a good fight matched against one another.

Imam sorry but you got a ways to go again before you get another shot. Probably at least 3 fights.

He's right, isn't that how eliminators work? Or is it only for the A-side?

Now, Imam isn't a bum, but someone who was being touted as the future of the 140 division should have beaten someone like Granados without much trouble.

You're just praising Granados to downplay Imam's loss.
exactly this hahahahahahahahaah. what the heck??? now these imam farts are hyping up granados as some sort of legend of the sport. hahahahahahahaha give me a break.

Because Granados wasn't rated in the top 15 by any of the 4 governing bodies (and I doubt he was rated by even the lame IBO).

With his performance, Granados should at least be put into the top 15 by the WBC, opening up the chance for him to go through his own eliminators for a shot.

The WBC needs to move on to their next top challenger, Omar Figueroa Jr (WBC #2). He fights Antonio Demarco (WBC #15) in two weeks, and the next move, pending a win, would likely be to line up Luca Giacon (WBC #3; basically a Euro-level fighter, from the looks of thing) for a final eliminator come Jan/Feb 2016.

Lucky for Viktor Postol, he now gets two voluntary defenses instead of one; only limitation is that they have to be in the WBC's top 15 (4. Mauricio Herrera, 5. Lucas Matthysse, 6. Ruslan Provodnikov, 7. Antonio Orozco, 9. Cletus Seldin, 10. Humberto Soto, 11. Marcelino Lopez, 13. Alberto Mosquera, and 14. Anthony Yigit seem to all be on the table) or be a world champion (Terrence Crawford or, unsure of the politics, Eduard Troyonovski)

That makes the best sense. All this talk about bums and who knows what never was as exciting as the sport. Broner could pull himself up to a better position with a win and Granados would make a lot of people happy if he's for real and does a job on him.
