Great upset. But was Klit vs Fury a great heavyweight fight?

Crappy fight as usual. Normally Fury fights are more exciting, but we all know who he was fighting yesterday.

Actually his last handful of fights ..(Fury that is) have been rather boring , ever since Cunningham he's adopted a much more cautious continuous moving approach far less offensive.

I don't expect that too change now that he has so much too lose.

The fight it self was awful/terrible viewing and another validating mark as to why I have such disdain for the heavyweight division

this,Fury is going to bore us in the future I hope for the division to start ****ing a bit that fury beats wlad in the rematch and then Wilder ko's Fury in brutal fashion..get rid of these boring big guys

then make way for Joshua and there we go we have 90's style heavyweight fights where they take more risks

The outcome is the only reason this fight isn't getting called worse than May/Pac. This fight was on Rigo/Barrera level. If Wlad would've won this fight would be called what it was, trash.

It was boring, but had a lot of meaning behind it so it somewhat made up for the lack of action.

Highly technical I'm not sure about that lol you look at how much both men missed, Fury couldn't land counters he's there to be took for someone like Wilder/Povetkin imo.

It was an eye opener. I enjoyed it, although as Wlad's fan it was frustrating.

I was amazed to learn that Fury can box Wlad from the outside even in the orthodox stand and that Fury's speed matches Wlad's

Wlad easily beats everybody in the division with his conventional tactics of fighting tall and from the outside, but he is not beating Fury that way. He needs to be way more aggressive with the aim to knock him out. Yes he might get hit and get himself knocked out, but it's the only way.

Things are not looking that good for him as he is already 39 and Fury is only going to get better and better.

That was about a 50% Fury. He's still learning & that was by far and away the biggest fight of his life. He'll learn so much from tonight.

From a technical stand point , it was horrible.
One wasn't throwing at all, only pawing his jab.
The other was sloppy, only throwing to score points and frustrate Wlad.

Tactically, it was nothing special. Fury was smarter on the inside and used it on his advantace.

Strategically, it was interesting in a rather funny way, with Fury looking like a tipsy, uncoordinated version of Ali and Wlad, unable to find the distance with his jab, doing nothing at all, mesmerized by the masterplan.

It was not a good fight, at all, but it was a very entertaining event, as a whole.

I hope so. He has a good team around him nowadays, especially now his dad is out of prison. They'll keep his feet on the ground and keep him motivated.

Then again, this is Tyson Fury, who knows!
