Great upset. But was Klit vs Fury a great heavyweight fight?

Two fairly high level guys going to war would be huge for the division.

We haven't had that in a looong time.
I don't see it happening with Wilder or Fury unfortunately. If they fought each other it would probably be similar to tonight, not many punches thrown.

It was a poor fight. The lack of punches landed by both fighters is incredibly ugly reading.

The event itself though was hilarious though. The handwrap argument before the fight, Rod Stewart, that cringy 'POWER OF JESUS' CGI promo, the masked anthem singer, Fury actually winning, the post fight Aerosmith...I was laughing throughout.

I play hockey and I am not in the mood to get drunk or high after games for at least an hour or two lolm
I don't know if it was, if it is a beer bottle i doubt it had beer in it, just there for sponsor money.

Combined for a total of 135 landed punches... Both landed at a low connect percentage of 23%.

The result is memorable, but the fight was about as interesting as John Ruiz fights.

It was not an entertaining fight. Neither was impressive, Fury fought cautiously like Mayweather, Wladimir wasn't willing to really go for it until round 12. Neither threw enough.

But in a way, it was fought on a high technical level.

reminded me of Ali dethroning the reigning champion Sonny Liston. Highly technical fight with a shocking outcome.

No it was fought on a very cautious negative level, Fury fought a good tactical fight but he really didn't do much with it technically.
