Is Tyson Fury getting enough credit for his win?

I've seen a lot of people comment about the fact that Klitschko's age has caught up with him or that it was a mixture of that and Fury's ability. But have you contemplated the possibility that Fury's style was a nightmare for Wlad? Bigger with a longer reach and so unorthodox/wrong with his technique that it works. The great Emmanuel Steward predicted it years ago:

    He basically out-klitchkoed Klitschko

No. Too much focus on Wlads's age. Before the fight, they were complaining about Wlad being the most deserving of the pound for pound #1 spot. Now all of the sudden he's shot? That makes no sense.

Well, you're pushing an agenda right here.

Fury is getting plenty of credit. His switching, movement and roughhouse tactics befuddled Wladimir. He deserved the win, no doubt.

The issue for most, though, is how a great champion could not adjust and why he was so tentative. Why was nothing said in his corner?

It's also worth pointing out that both fighters had pathetically low punch accuracy levels.

I don't think he's shot. He just needed guidance. As I have said elsewhere, this version of Wladimir reminded me so much of the early rounds in the Calvin Brock fight - terrified to throw or double up. It was bizarre.

Fury got enough credit. He landed about 7 punches per round, doe.

Yeah, if anything he's getting too much credit. He did enough to win, but I can't call it an impressive performance.
