Mos def. Homyfiekd could give and take a punch like the best of them. The guy was a freak. Iron chinned. Heart of a lion, one of the best. That's why he was champ on 4 separate occassions.

If Wlad got hit with some of the shots that Bowe, Tyson, Lewis, Qawi, or Foreman landed on Holyfield, he might not be alive. They're just cut from a diff cloth.

I agree. When I was kid I had the privledge of watching Holmes Vs Norton. Rounds 13 14 and 15 epitimized why boxing was the greatest sport. Everything was on the line and they brought it. At the highest skill level I might add. Hopefully Wilder can bring it that back.

Klitschko thought Tyson Fury was fast? He can imagine what Mike Tyson in his early 20s would've done with his speed.

Yeah, Holy had too much heart for his own good, but he was an amazing warrior and lived up to his nickname "The Real Deal".

Exactly what the hell are people talking about? How many Champs are this honest. No excuses

They truly are. That's why it bothers the hell out of me when people act like Wlad would have walked through all those guys. They had too much mental character and strength for this current crop of HWs.

Just watched Foreman vs Moorer the other day for the first time in many years. At the time it was a decent scrap with the highlight being the KO. But watching it now, compared to today's HWs, it was a barn burner. Would have been FOTY today lol.

Those guys in that era (and past eras) just went to a different place man. I'm all for fighting smart and maintaining your faculties. Cool. But don't pretend a prime Holyfield would not have lit Wlads ass up.

Some people only read the headlines and don't click the article.
