Not a good sign for Golovkin fans, Haymon's trying to steal away the last MW title. Frank Warren said Golovkin/Lee have already been negotiating, meanwhile DiBella is Lee's US promoter.

If he wins, Lee might be setting himself up for the highest bidder with a US fight vs Quillin/Jacobs or a UK fight vs Golovkin. It would also mean Quillin/Jacobs have no intention of fighting Golovkin as the WBO won't allow you to unify with lesser versions of the WBA title.

I think Quillin and Jacobs would fight GGG if the fight is big enough. The problem is it will never be big enough to where it makes sense for Haymon, K2, HBO, PBC and all other parties involved. Too many hands in the cookie jar.

The optimistic side of me thinks if Quillin/Jacobs is an all out war, the winner can become a hit in NYC where GGG already packs arenas. Slim chance that they can generate enough money for all parties to be happy.

This was a showtime decision if Saunders wins he's staying in UK , Lee on the other hand can rematch Quillen or still fight Golovkin, this doesn't necessarily mean anything certain for which way the winner will go.
