A rare meeting between the two top men at 175-pounds. WBC champion Adonis Stevenson and IBF/WBO/WBA champion Sergey Kovalev came face to face at the Videotron Center in Quebec City, Canada.
Both fighters were in attendance for Showtime's televised doubleheader.
Stevenson (27-1, 22 KO) is there to support his countryman, Lucian Bute, who challenges IBF super middleweight champion James DeGale in the main event. While Kovalev is there to support Main Events stablemate Isaac Chilemba, who takes on Eleider Alvarez in the televised co-feature.
