in short, no i dont think it's fair to say he's vulnerable to a southpaw's right uppercut.

spence was fighting an orthodox, getting nailed with the right uppercut a lot.
i think he is very vulnerable to the right uppercut from the orthodox stance.

but i cant say the same if he was fighting a southpaw. the angle of that lead-hand right uppercut would be different.

Right. I mean, don't get me wrong here, he may be vulnerable to it, but just because someone hit him with a few good shots doesn't automatically make it the case. He hasn't really fought anyone good enough to show vulnerabilities in my opinion.

I don't think Spence has any glaring weakness however tonight showed that he's not invincible which is okay; he just needs to improve on his missteps. Tough fights are what young fighters need to get better. I think he's being matched properly and will be able to develop his skills at a comfortable pace. He should be ready for B+ comp in another fight or two.....

Oh, he's vulnerable to more than just uppercuts.
Being slow, stiff and flat-footed will do that to you.
