I got Fury by TKO in either the 9th or 10th.
"Too Fast" Fury vs "Bronze Bomber" Wilder: Who wins?

Fury is a tactician. A master. The way he controlled Wlad with feints and finesse, and the way he effortlessly rolls and slips his shots, He would bully Wilder from the inside and maul him.Comment

I've always felt Fury would win a decision (posted it several times) but I refrained from voting because I felt Wilder had a puncher's chance, after last night, I doubt he even has that. Wilder hits hard, no doubt but it took him 7 rounds to catch Spilly, who was in front of him all night AND winning rounds.
Fury is taller, probably has a longer reach, fights better going back and lands quick shots. Wilder will not catch him.Comment

You might need to rewatch the fight. The name of the game is hit and don't get hit, and Fury does this well. There was much going on in the ring that night, you just probably didn't see it - there are levels to this, it's ok, young padawan.Comment

Right now I'm siding with Fury. Wilder just looks too sloppy. I can't see anything outside of a puncher's chance for Wilder in that fight as of now. Now if he steps in the ring with someone a bit better and is pushed to his best, I might be able to see something more from him that alters my opinion. I doubt it though as his ugly footwork, bad balance, and wild haymaker punching aren't likely to change overnight. So for now, I have Fury winning in decisive fashion.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 01-17-2016, 10:13 PM.Comment

i really can't stand deontay.
if he shouts bomb squad into the camera again i'm cancelling my showtime subscriptiion. whoever directs their programming should know that people don't want to see such a loud man acting like an idiot. it's impossible to ignore. i mute my television.
wilder's obviously got more talent in his right arm than fury has in his body. that guy can freaking punch. spilka was out like a light, and really didn't come to fully for several minutes.
still, wilder's got enough flaws, takes enough breaks, and is annoying enough for me to wish that fury beat him! said it! go get him, tyson.
tyson singing > wilder making any kind of noise.Comment

tyson singing > wilder making any kind of noise. But I do agree it is corny.

Neither one looks good because their 6'7"+ and the punch angles look long and slow the recovery time takes longer because their reach is so long and their balance gets loose again because their height makes their recovery a little slower.
The main question for me is who takes the lead? They both like to move on the outside and look to counter. Their very simular in their Method approach
and technique wise their pretty simular as to effectiveness.
Fury has a little better left hand and Wilders right is a lot better than Furys!
Probably a pick em fight that has a chance to be boring or a barn burner!
We'll see next year!
