Wlad didnt fight like he was the best in his last 2 fights. I do give credit to fury he did bit wlad but it wasnt the same wlad. He looked shot in the jennings fight and even more shot in the fury fight. Wlad still walked him down easily the only problem was he literally didnt throw any punches. Not like fury did anything overly impressive he just did enough to win. It wasnt some masterclass boxing performance at all , just an ugly boring fight in wich fury beat a guy who didnt throw anything. Difference is wilder throws punches and has more power than fury.

At the moment I have to lean towards Fury, though Wilder's one of the few fighters where the phrase "one punch is all it takes" is eminently applicable.Comment

I think Wilder will be ready for Povetkin, and I expect Fury to win his rematch. Both fights will be good, I hope so anyway.Comment

I was rewatching the Povetkin Wach fight the other night and it was interesting to see how often Wach was able to catch him with jabs and right hands. Wilder, needless to say, is considerably faster and harder hitting than Wach, and seems to have better timing as well. If Povetkin can't get past Wilder's jab he's going to get stopped or widely decisioned IMO. But then Wilder's been caught and hurt by his last three opponents, so it's a little unrealistic not to expect Povetkin to land something big at some point. His left hook is a great weapon against taller opponents and he closes distance with it really well.Comment
