Looked the same to me. When the opportunity presented itself, he had no problem pulling the trigger. The issue was that Fury's jabs and feints made him tentative and his supplementary style of leaning and clinching didn't work.

Yes, he's old, but his unwillingness to throw had everything to do with Fury.

I think it was far more to do with the size and awkwardness and how well Fury moves on his feet for a guy that's 6 ft 9.

I mean he usually leans back off the jab and softens you up and throws the right hand around the 6th-7th rounds. He couldn't land the jab consistently to soften Fury up, which meant he was unwilling to start throwing the right hand.

He's the same guy everyone wanted to call p4p #1 two hours ago and that everyone said was better than ever after knocking out Pulev. The only difference is tonight he wasn't fighting an immobile punching bag.

He has always struggled with movers, and this was one who had the size and reach to make Wlad pay for his weaknesses.

I dont like how Max and Jim was acting like Fury had almost nothing to do with the win, they were talking about how it's Klitschko who's that bad and not Fury who's that good in the fight.

Same Vlad for me, he couldn't pull the trigger because he was terrified of being countered. When Vlad gets tagged it's like watching a scared turtle retreat into his shell. Looks like Tarzan, fights like Jane.

People listen too much to Kellerman and co, they were saying Klitschko didn't throw the right hand because he couldn't pull the trigger.

Wlad never throws his right hand until he's landing consistently with the jab and is comfortable, Fury didn't allow him either. These commentators should know the fighter they are talking about a little better, especially one that has been the HW champ for so long.
