Comments Thread For: Jermall Charlo Stops Campfort in Four, Remains Unbeaten

Jermall Charlo couldn't have asked for a better first defense of his super welterweight title, dropping Wilky Campfort three times en route to a 4th round stoppage Saturday afternoon at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas.

Campfort was knocked down in rounds two, three and four. The final knockdown - punctuated by a left uppercut - left the challenger complaining of blurred vision, prompting the stoppage at 1:16 of round four. [Click Here To Read More]

    Good Win

Good win for Charlo. Looking forward to a step up in competition maybe Austin Trout, Demetrius Andrade, or J-Roc.

He's getting better by the fight. Hopefully he becomes more main stream to the media and public.

He will not be at 154 much longer, he looks massive for the weight.

Charlo looked huge compared to campfort. Like 2 divisions worth. They said it coulda been charlos last jmw fight as he has struggled to make weight . Maybe he can move up get the quillen Jacobs winner

Charlo looked real sharp. Since he's prob moving up fighting the Jacobs quillin winner would be good

Wilky Campfort fighting for a world title. Horrible matchmaking, Jermall Charlo looked like a monster but this W is absolutely meaningless. Deontay Wilder's latest opponents were much better than Wilky.

What your thoughts on these Charlo brothers? How far do you think they go? Fight Triple G someday? Havent really seen to much of them, only against over matched opponents.

Both have some talent but of the both i think jermall may have just enough size and pop to be a force at 160
