Wlad's footwork is energy saving, his stance is wide and his feet are planted, plus he has the advantage of training on this surface in the lead up to the fight.

Fury's footwork requires quick changes of momentum, lots of bouncing and skipping and so on. That surface would have sapped his energy fast and possibly lead to him sustaining an injury.

Different rings affect people in different ways depending on their style. That's obvious.

So I guess that means the huge 24 foot ring is an advantage for Fury since he's the mover. Why did Wlad give him a nice big ring if he's so fleet of foot?

Bring me the proof. Last time I checked, Wlad didn't need to fake anything, he's been on top for over 10 years, please come with something more than your biased opinion.

Wlad has faked injuries before in fights screwing with his opponents mind. Wlad is known to play mind games with opponents such as the fake leg injury for Fury. Champs try to gain any edge they can get especially as they age and get slower.

This isn't a situation where one guy is taking PED's or loading his gloves where HE gets the advantage over the other. Both guys would be using the ring.

No one has provided a good reason for why this would benefit Klitshcko.

Wlads training ring was the same, Johnny Nelson spotted this when Wlad was sparring. There is a video of Johnny Nelson pointing this out few days back. Nelson said opponents feet were sinking into the ring, allowing Wlad to land on them.
