Wlad's footwork is energy saving, his stance is wide and his feet are planted, plus he has the advantage of training on this surface in the lead up to the fight.

Fury's footwork requires quick changes of momentum, lots of bouncing and skipping and so on. That surface would have sapped his energy fast and possibly lead to him sustaining an injury.

Different rings affect people in different ways depending on their style. That's obvious.
So I guess that means the huge 24 foot ring is an advantage for Fury since he's the mover. Why did Wlad give him a nice big ring if he's so fleet of foot?

Klitschko haters can stop crying now. The situation has been resolved for awhile. Save your crying for after the fight.

Wlad has faked injuries before in fights screwing with his opponents mind. Wlad is known to play mind games with opponents such as the fake leg injury for Fury. Champs try to gain any edge they can get especially as they age and get slower.

This isn't a situation where one guy is taking PED's or loading his gloves where HE gets the advantage over the other. Both guys would be using the ring.

No one has provided a good reason for why this would benefit Klitshcko.
Wlads training ring was the same, Johnny Nelson spotted this when Wlad was sparring. There is a video of Johnny Nelson pointing this out few days back. Nelson said opponents feet were sinking into the ring, allowing Wlad to land on them.

Wlad has been training on this type of surface....

Expects Fury to move more. Harder to move quickly and much harder to keep moving on a soft surface.

Alright, fair enough. Lets get rid of the ring and get a better one.

Hopefully, Fury doesn't turn into Bobby Fisher (the chess player) who during one of his world chess games complained about everything but the sun.

Here is a video of Nelson talking about the Wlads training ring...it was cordoned off.

Well I answered this thread without seeing that the issue has been resolved:

With just a few hours to spare before the opening bell, it appears that all matters have finally been resolved for Saturday's World heavyweight championship contest. Tyson Fury has stood firm on what he believes are his rights heading into his mandatory title shot versus reigning heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko. The latest hiccup came on the morning of the fight - which will air live on RTL in Germnay, Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and HBO in the United States - when Team Fury took issue with the spongy ring mat that K2 Promotions planned to use for the title fight.

Waste of time. Lets move on.
