Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (49-2-1, 32KOs) has set his sights on a 2016 showdown with Badou Jack (20-1-1, 12KOs), who holds the WBC's championship at 168-pounds.
Chavez recently passed on reuniting with former coach Freddie Roach and intends to stay with current trainer Robert Garcia, worked with the Mexican star for his July decision victory over Marco Reyes.
