Some guy in the lounge last year thought that the super bowl was on PPV and called his TV provider trying to buy it. He didn't know anything about football. It was hilarious.

Because the NFL is owned by a single organization. Boxing is a federation of rogue promoters and sanctioning bodies.

I wouldn't know. I haven't seen either. I was raised to value money.

If you can't figure out why team sports based in cities/regions is more marketable than boxing in 2015 then....

Sometimes I look at a boxer's trunks or shirts they put on and wonder how many people actually care about the commercial patches/advertisements or if putting "Corona" on the ring mats really help with sales.

A Carls Jr. commercial with a hot chick during a Super Bowl timeout will always intrigue more viewers than looking at text during a fight.

These days be cause boxing just wouldn't rate that high but originally it was because an nfl goes for like 4 hours and has 60mjns of play so you can show ads in that time.

Boxing only has the round breaks for ads.

Because unlike in the NFL, a boxing fight could end at anytime
