if jacobs or quillin try to drag the middle champ up to some bulls-hit catchewight of 160 pounds they might have a chance but besides that they are done

50/50 fights. I keep waiting for canelo's breakthrough fight were he actually dominates a top fighter but he never does.

lol Two tin cans. One that went life-and-death with Gabriel Rosado and another who was almost layed out by Sergio Mora.

Canelo may not be elite, but he flattens both of these tin can paper titlists any day of the week.

Probably beats Quillin, Jacobs can outbox him if he doesn't get KOed.

Stop with Canelo and KO unless he is fighting a welterweight his is not KO any top level guy, he is to of a low level puncher to actually hurt and try to pressure for a KO.

We heard that everytime and he keep failing to do so.

I say he win via judges gift, or he may actually get a surprise when he taste a punch from a guy his own size like quillin. We seen what happened to Chavez Jr the best Chin in boxing when he actually got hit by a guy his own size.

Canelo would look bad vs Jacob..he's skill n has power at 160..that's a 50/50 fight..but i see canelo getting da decision on a close fight like always.. Canelo vs Quillin ..I favor Quillin. .I see Canelo getting hurt in this fight bc of his lack of movement..possibly getting KO TKO..if it goes to da Cards ..well guess who wins con da cards always...u know who..Mr 155.

I think he beats them, maybe in style, but I want to see it. This should be his career path now, fighting these guys building towards GGG in 12-15 months. To me he has always been a middleweight trying to squeeze down to Junior middle and lower. He doesn't have a frame like a typical middleweight but that is exactly where he should be, I think the sooner Oscar and his camp realise this the better. If he doesn't beat these guys at 160 that means he isn't good enough, you can't keep him squeezing down to catchweights forever. They should have confidence in their fighter, I think he'll be better when he finally makes the move, I think his stamina will improve, he'll finally be able to fight at a pace. His hand speed will trouble middleweights greatly, and I wouldn't be surprised if his power is better also. Like Manny when he moved up - he will be hitting fighters with slower reflexes and shots they won't necessarily see coming.

Interesting take on Canelo's weight. It would be nice to see his stamina and power improve when he finally moves to the full MW limit. He's got skill and the handspeed, can be special if he improves stamina and can have some decent pop in his punches against full fledged MW's. I think that version of Canelo, if it exisits, can seriously threaten GGG.
