You can't fool the fans? Man as always you are fooling yourself. I really wanted Cotto to win, but the coach is being very honest with his score of 116-112. No way Cotto won more rounds than that. I really want to believe that you are just a lifetime troll because you have been making the craziest claims for years. Admit defeat and stop making ricans look bad.

Stop trolling bro. All that damage to Cotto's face was done in the 12th round. Canelo got the nod, stop trying to revise what happened in the ring.

Sorry but I'm Puerto Rican and was rooting for Cotto 100% but he clearly lost that fight. I gave him 3 rounds (4 rounds being generous). Canelo was too much for him on that night especially with that uppercut.

You say you were going for Cotto and gave him every round that you could. That implies that there were multiple rounds where, if you weren't going for Cotto, you could give it to Canelo. So, at minimum, a 9-3 card should be acceptable in your eyes, no?

His power punches did nothing to Canelo, they didn't even sting him. On the other hand when Canelo landed on Cotto you can see the effect they were having on him.

In regards to the corner men in this fight you can hear and see Canelo's team telling him to do more, pick up the pace, and continue to put pressure.

While the hall of famer Freddie Roach was just like your winning the fight, keep doing what your doing. What fight was he watching? Canelo was doing more damage and blocking most of Cotto's punches. He should have changed something to help benefit Cotto.

Money May was right what fight was Freddie Roach looking at?
still think canelo was paid extra not to KO cotto. cotto could not hurt canelo and canelo being young bigger stronger could have KO'd cotto unless he got paid off

I don't think so, Canelo looked like he was going for it in the last round (I think) and didn't come close. It looked like Canelo was just being conservative with his punch output most of the fight.

The fight was close if you score it purely on points. But if you compare real power shots it wasn't. If Cotto touches him 10 times and Canelo blasts him 8, as much as I wanted Cotto to pull it off, I'm giving the round to Canelo. And even though I thought Cotto displayed better boxing skills, he lost. Basically Cotto fought a smart tactical fight and he did real well, it wasn't enough. He thought that was going to be enough, it wasn't.
