That's the problem people have with Canelo.....................even though Manny did the same thing.

    See Antonio Margarito & Cotto.

He's only fought two catchweights for titles and one was not his fault...

Lara had a title but Canelo didn't want to fight for it. Like I told the guy earlier not all CW have to involve belts.

We don't buy it for a second man, you want to see a weak GGG weighting 165 on fight night while canelo is weighting 178 or so.

I'm sure a LOT of ppl want to fight Canelo @155. GGG is just not one of them. GGG can fight Lee on PPV and Canelo can fight someone else.

Actually no - Angulo weighed 170lbs and Alvarez weighed 174lbs.

Alvarez/Angulo was supposed to be at 154lbs, Canelo missed weight and just paid Angulo $100k. Then at 3pm fight day Canelo had to be under 168lbs, he weighed in 166lbs. Then at fight time put on another 8lbs.

Canelo is only able to make 155lbs because he's so young. His body can squeeze out the 20lbs of water and then reabsorb in the 24hr period, but by next May that could very well be too much for him.

Trying to find it right now. He had it backwards I think?? But Angulo DEFINITELY outweighed him.

Actually the Showtime telecast screwed up the weights.

And new WTF 155 division Champion ...

OK then. Fight anyone under 160. That's the key - 160! Get it? WBC middleweight belt can be contested by anyone weighing 160 or less. You can keep the 155 WTF strap until anyone under 155 comes challenging you for it.

All these fights at 155 suggest otherwise. Pretty soon, the time will come where he can't make it but he'll drain himself yet again, only this time it will be too much.
