There is no reason why Golovkin vs Canelo SHOULD NOT be at 160lbs. I also don't know why a fighter would call himself a middleweight champion without ever fighting at the full limit at least once. I'm aware that there is a weight range for each class but c'mon man. He's definitely creating a weight class and some fans seem to be cool with it. How many catchweight has Canelo had? And he's suppose to be great? Or on the road to greatness?

So are we going to just keep the redundancy wheel spinning or are you going to explain? Yea, I know what I wrote.

This is just downright stupid......thats why i say if GGG wants that title and to get the division back in order then just agree to the weight and kick his ass..the rewards will be great

                It's easy

There's an easy solution to all of this.

Strip Canelo. Give the title to GGG. Then make the fight at whatever weight GGG and Canelo agree to.

Canelo can insist on others meeting him at 155, but he can't do that while holding on to a MW title.

Well let's look at the post again:

Imagine if Pacquiao fought the welterweights with a limit of 141.
You really don't see how this is ******ed?

The bold is just laughable because it happened (not the specific weight of 141, but the premise of what it meant).

What welterweight did Pacquiao fight at 141?
