Thats why Floyd cant retire, he needs to be underdog at 160 against GGG to make up for a smoke and mirrors career.

A high risk little reward fight is when Pac beat Margarto so you are confusing yourself here.
BH didn't get hurt vs kovalev due to his defensive skills and hes 12 years older than Floyd.Last edited by hugh grant; 11-26-2015, 06:28 AM.

Very interesting info there. So then we can safely cancel out Corrales too it means effectively Floyd has never actually fought a top tier fighter who was in their prime, who hadn't been recently defeated, or wasn't weight-drained. Not a single time in 49 fights! The illusion of his career is permanently shattered at this point.

A magician has to meticulously plan and rehearse his act before blowing you away with sleight of hand and magic that you think looks impossible. How do you cut people in half and make them levitage? Same thing with Floyd.
Just take a unmistakable risk for once Floyd. You can bloat JMM up 2 divisions, therefore there should be no reason why Floyd cant do it.

Why would he fight Little G when he could fight someone who is the lineal 160 champion, has a better resume and brings more money to the table instead?

It is a risk fight and a high reward fight. The risk is only losing, which Floyd has claimed isn't that important, although theres not much evidence to support the idea that he don't mind losing his zero. Its probably his health that is more important, but he wont get hurt v GGG, because Floyd don't get hit and he can quit at any point during a fight. Its a high reward fight because beating the best 160 will put Floyd top 10 all time that's whats on the line.

Oscar De La Hoya had a far superior resume to GGG, he had an olympic Gold Medal, and was a huge star. When Floyd beat Oscar, Oscar was approximately the same age GGG is now. And what do people say about Floyd's victory over Oscar? That he was over the hill.
And Bernard Hopkins definitely did get hurt against Kovalev. If you don't know how to tell when a fighter is hurt you need to seriously stop watching boxing.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is retired. Why can't we just focus on the fighters that are well and active instead of bringing up Floyd's name every other day? You people always talk about what he needs TO DO. The man's legacy is solidified and respected by other active fighters. El Tejano is an idoit!
