Canelo doesn't strike me as a cherry-picker. However, the proposed catch-weight for Golovkin raises su****ion. If he does cherry-pick (and man, I hope he doesn't), he will not achieve the status of the next great Mexican boxer.

It will be hard for him to cherry pick. If GGG was at 168, he could probably cherry pick at 160. But with GGG literally 4 pounds away he is kind of stuck either facing him now, or later with nobody to face inbetween that will make him the kind of money that a match with GGG would bring.
