Should The IBF Strip Kell Brook of The Belt?

Stevenson just got stripped of the Ring belt for fighting poor opposition but his last 2 opponents have been at least as good as Brook's.

Cotto was stripped of the WBC belt for not paying the extortionate sanctioning fee.

Rigondeaux was stripped of the WBO belt recently because he didn't make a defence for over a year.

But none of those necessarily deserved to be stripped compared to a certain IBF belt-holder.

Is it time the IBF stripped Brook for fighting terrible (Rod Salka level) competition for over a year?

Surely the IBF should follow in the footsteps of the Ring, WBO and WBC, do something right for once in order to remove the widely-held perception that it's a ridiculously laughable and undeniably worthless organization while being the very definition of an alphabet paper title?

Or, is it time for boxing fans to unite and consensually disregard and de-recognize the IBF as a legitimate sanctioning body in light of many years of su****ious conduct and activity?

    A change must come.

IBF doesn't rate #1 and #2 contenders yet... IBF should give Brook a mandatory first.

Doesn't matter, given he is fighting a future HOFer in Kevin Bizier the Ring would sanction this for the Lineal crown, hence you can keep that IBF belt.

Why should he be stripped? Which part of their rules isn't he following?

He fought a mandatory, a highly ranked contender (IBF), another highly ranked contender (IBF) is schduled and then either a unification or a mandatory again.

For what? Let him keep the IBF nobody gives a **** anyway. Keith Thurman and Timothy Bradley are the real champions at welterweight. Kelly Brook can keep that fake title and stay fighting bums who cares

Brook fought the #1 mandatory IBF challanger and the #4 ranked IBF challenger this year. How could the IBF justify stripping Brook? That doesn't make sense...
