DeGale should cruise through this old version of Lucian Bute who never really was any good. Only thing is that Bute fights at home with a huge partisan crowd behind him. Who knows how the judges react to that? Also DeGale and his team should be carefull about choosing a referee.

Yeah DeGale might be the best 168 pounder in the world. Abraham should be ranked no. 1 though. DeGale would be favoured to beat him should they ever meet though.

I'd f**king love Fury to do it, it would be awesome! Head says Klitschko, heart says Fury. He's got the tools to do it though. I am heading over to Dussledorf for the fight and can't wait! It's gunna be interesting to see how the fight pans out and what tactics they use.

        I Guess

This division is full of unknowns still. Not sure who is the best in the division.

I guess Degale has the best victory against Dirrell. But honestly ever since Andre Ward started to become inactive this division is watered down.

Not sure there will be any major stars from this division.

Did they really say that? Or are you making things up again to try to prove something and defend your daddy degale?

Gilberto Ramirez was supposed to fight DeGale for the vacant IBF world title but pulled out of it so Dirrell got the shot instead

Daddy DeGale would ****** that young boy and Top Rank knew it.

He got a big boost with his KO wins over Periban & Gonzalez, but Periban was badly jetlegged going into the fight and had nothing. Gonzalez is simply a lower level fighter and never been that good.

Meanwhile Bute is finally away from his old trainer and working the Grant brothers, I'm betting they've given him renewed focus & confidence, along with tightening up some technique flaws. In addition, Bute's been working with Memo Heredia for this camp. I expect this to be the best version of Bute we've seen since Froch.
Back in 2011, I personally told Bute to get rid of Larouche, but he said his word is worth nothing within InterBox... In ten years, Larouche taught Bute nothing about pro boxing.

No it's not. James DeGale was the mandatory challenger to Carl Froch.

When Froch dropped the belt, DeGale and Ramirez were 1 and 2 in in the IBF Rankings.

Top Rank weren't ready to put Ramirez in that fight. That's why he he's still fighting DeGale's leftovers.

                      Those are facts dummy.

It's not my "opinion" what the IBF rankings were.
