Oscar is a promoter. When he purchased the magazine there went the credibility of the magazine. Oscar says he just owns it and lets the staff of Ring run it like they always did. I don't believe that. Oscar had this love affair with Rousey and he put her on the cover. The old Ring would never have put an MMA fighter on their cover any more than an MMA magazine would put a boxer on their cover. Oscar, the promoter makes sure the fighters he promotes get very good treatment in Ring. He owns the magazine so the staff will do what ever he says.

Canelo is a damn good fighter and he has a ton of courage. You picked Cotto to beat him but he beat Cotto by more points than YOUR HERO beat Cotto by. The Cotto-Canelo fight didn't turn out the way you wanted it to, did it now. In case you forgot Canelo just won the lineal middleweight championship of the world. It bothers you so much that Canelo won't fight at 160 but it doesn't bother you at all that Mayweather made Canelo drop to 152 to fight him for a 154 pound title. You trash GGG because he would fight Froch at 168 but he would go no higher than 164 to fight Ward. But it doesn't bother you that Ward offered to drop to 160 to fight Mayweather but refused to go any lower than 168 to fight GGG. You are a hypocrite with a double standard for fighters you like as apposed to fighters you don't like.
