      PEDs are a shortcut.

The whole point of competitive sports is that hard work, talent and dedication will ultimately prove successful.

The key to clean sports is reproducible, consistent and independent testing.

Failed testing should result in a lifetime ban.

      Will it ever happen?

      Probably not.

I think the richer more famous guys have a huge advantage in the current system as it is. They have the money to bribe, and are so well known that it isnt in the sports interest to catch them.

Lesser known, poorer athletes cant compete.

Not that legalising would make it safer, but it could make things more even for what its worth

I somehow doubt PED's would make Fury any better, would probably still look like a fat oaf.

It would not make things fair at all.

You will and up with a PED two tier system. Only certain fighters will have the very best drugs money can buy as they earn more... On the other hand less well paid athletes will have ****ty entry level steroids.

And on top of that you can guarantee that even with legalised PEDs, there will be somebody who will still try to get the edge using other methods.

It's already "legal," just not in writing. But it's regulated now since they don't allow it beyond a certain level lol. What Fury is suggesting would simply mean that they allow it to be done more frequently without fear of repurcussion. No org will ever endorse that. Besides, the playing field will never be fair, as one poster pointed out.

Fury is uneducated but a very smart guy

ATM, he is doing and saying anything to promote his upcoming fight as it is all aimed at producing $ in his pocket

I honestly would not take anything he has to say seriously until after the dust has settled on this fight and he is talking without anything on the line
