Jono Carroll had been set for a non-television appearance to end the year, live on Sky Sports Box Office, but a change has been made.
The Dublin super featherweight, who won the lightweight Prizefighter last year, will still box on the pay-per-view format.
But the scheduled showing will be sooner rather than later after his showcase on the undercard of the heavyweight grudge match between Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte at the O2 Arena in London was cancelled.
