That's awesome. Should be enough to convince both companies to do a rematch in May. Even if the rematch only yields 500k I still think it's big enough to entice both companies.

Pretty decent numbers.
There was just something about this fight that I wasn't into though. There was no real heated rivalry. The 24/7's and Face-Off were boring as *** too.
I can understand why it didn't completely capture the casual audience.Comment

Good Number. Funny thing was right before the fight there was a tweet posted on NSB about them lowering expectations from 825k to around 650k or so.
Definitely see them doing a rematch. Also a big enough number to entice Floyd out of retirement and make GGG wait a little longer.Comment

No #CottoCanelo PPV figs yet. Will be few days but based on early satellite numbers, source involved told me it's a lock to do at least 900k
DirecTV did 130-150K buys, and they usually account for 25-30% of the total number...
Which means the total is 500-550K total.Comment

Thought it would do 700k, 800 tops. 900k is amazing.

I mean GGG really should not dicatate a damn thing. He is in no position to. Not a PPV draw whatsoever. Even comparing Canelo-Angulo, just pathetic numbers vs Lemiuex. Canelo vs Lemiuex probably does 400k if it was Canelo fighting him that night rather than GGG.Comment

I forgot what I had said it would do but this is pretty impressive. That's especially great news for Canelo, who could be on his way to being the face of the sport.Comment
