Canelo isn't getting the credit he deserves.

Canelo won the fight, it was close. The scorecards were ridiculous but anyway, the right guy won.

For beating Cotto, I don't think Canelo isn't getting the credit he deserves. I mean, it isn't his fault the scorecards were wild and after-all, he won the fight.

He beat a solid, and improved Cotto, coming off some nice wins. Canelo displayed some great skills, nice countering and fairly decent defense against a top opponent. He is a young kid who had a lot of pressure on his shoulders from not only his country, but the entire boxing world. He fought a good fight and truely learned from his loss to Floyd. I think we should appreciate this kids talent and praise his recent performances, before slaughtering him about a potential match-up with Golovkin.

Although I think Canelo wants all the advantages he can have, I like the kid. Lets give him props for this fight.

    Canelo could beat ggg..

But still people will find and say that canelo waited too long or he outweighed ggg on fight night and or that he drained ggg....

And the canelo really a light heavyweight excuse..

You gotta accept that the haters will make canelo a hof in its time just as floyd haters made him a hof

      The scorecards were fine.

It wasn't that close at all and Canelo definitely isn't getting the credit he deserves for pretty much outclassing Cotto.

Agreed. I think GGG wins but Canelo gives him a tough fight. I like the kid. He's impressive for a 25 year old.

He got more than enough credit with those scorecards.

I really don't think this is an improved Cotto. It's the same ol Cotto. Canelo won this fight cause he's just physically bigger and stronger. Cotto couldn't handle the physical strength of Canelo and Canelo looked to be at least 15 pounds bigger.

Is it true that Canelo was 175 pounds in the ring?

They were awful but he won the fight. Fans and media are not crediting him enough.

                I never said he didn't.

What more credit does he deserve?

                  175?

Geale weighed in around over 180 vs cotto and he mopped the floor with him and so did ggg... Your point?

Canelo isn't getting the credit he deserves and likely will not on NSB. He beat Cotto clearly IMO so you know a lot of NSB posters will try and take away from it.

When he lost to Floyd, those not wanting to give Floyd credit decided to **** on Canelo and now wont man up and admit he's better than they said.
