Cuauhtemoc's take on Cotto vs Canelo card

Yeah that played a major role in the fight. Nelo was talking a small step back and Cotto just couldn't get to him. Cottos best punch the jab just couldn't connect and he was never able to set up the rest of his artillery. The times that he tried to get inside and fight Nelo would answer back and Cotto just couldn't implement his plan. Props to Nelo too, dude did what he had to do but he does need to be more active. And when the fight was over Nelo did show Cotto much respect and that'show fights should end. Good night of boxing overall except the obvious Rigo fight. They have to get through his head that he needs to take a few more risk and initiate the fight.
He was quicker, slipped and countered better and showed incredible reflexes against an experienced world champ that has knocked out some of the best.Comment

Right now I would say no, but if he can box GGG it will be a good fight. GGG will use his size advantage better than Canelo did vs Cotto because if his STYLE.
GGG will come forward, he will press and he will take chances. That is what worries me about GGG and the fact that he seems to have an iron chin makes it even worse.
From what I heard through the g****vine, Canelo outboxed GGG in their sparring sessions, but sparring isn't fighting. 10oz gloves, no head gear is a different world and Canelo will be running the risk of getting seriously hurt in that fight IMO.Comment
