Colombia’s Eleider Álvarez (18-0, 10 KOs) is currently preparing for his WBC world title eliminator against Isaac Chilemba (24-2-2, 10 KOs) in his country of residence, Canada, alongside his trainer Marc Ramsey. Álvarez, ranked in the top ten by three of the four major sanctioning bodies could face WBC champion Adonis Stevenson in his next fight should he emerge with his hand raised on November 28. The light heavyweight contender spoke to BoxingScene.com via telephone from his training camp to discuss his next possible step as well as two other fights of interest.

I can't see Degale or Kovalev losing these fights...

Pascal is a little too wild in the ring and runs out of steam quickly. Kovalev is too skillful and measured with his work, there's also the small matter of his power...

The Degale fight really depends on which version of Bute turns up!

DeGale gets Bute out of there anytime between 6-10. Kovalev-Pascal 2 plays out the exact same way.
