Canelo is still too young. he basically bullied around a smaller cotto. i saw many mistakes. canelo should have been able to take cotto out. if it was golovkin in there last night, cotto would have been laying flat on his back.
i dont care if they fight at a catchweight 155, if canelo fights golovkin, his boxing career ends prematurely via a 10 round TKO beating....it will be trinidad/vargas all over again.

If Canelo Fights GGG i will be rooting for Canelo, but i have to admit , you might just be right. If Cotto was able to hit him w/ double jabs several times, I think GGG would be able to as well, and being that he is a true middle wgt like canelo, i agree GGG will most likely KO him. Look what he did to Lemuix. But I will be rooting for Canelo...

I get your point and also think GGG bets Canelo.......your example isn't a good one though. Tito vs Vargas was competitive until Tito hit Vargas low.

This is why GGG gets "hate"

Canelo has now faced Mayweather, Cotto, Lara, and even a faded, washed up Mosley.

GGG hasn't fought anyone close to those credentials, even name wise for his resume, which Canelo still has him beat with Angulo, Kirkland, Trout and the likes.

Relax. I hate when people suck on these fighters balls. Even with my favorite fighters I refuse to degrade myself to a cheerleader. Canelo has a better resume, good experience at the pro level, and is on his way to a HOF career. GGG still doesn't have a BIG win. You guys already saw Ronda Rousey, stop falling for the hype and let your eyeballs do the evaluation, not the media. GGG is a potential PPV kingpin, but lets see it happen first. Canelo is LIVE against GGG.

Vargas is better than Canelo, and tito-vargas was a terrific fight..

            Ggg-Canelo would be manslaughter

Not Tito vs Vargas ..more like 3G vs Lemiuex. .GGG power jab beats Canelo till he TKO him late. .one dimensional Canelo has nothing to offer 3g in the ring. .other than just a $ fight...

Stop with the nonsense in this thread. Canelo beats GGG if he believes it. Canelo has a good defense, but he needs to learn to set up his offense from it and not just stand there dancing and looking pretty. Canelo has the better variety of punches that will catch GGG off guard. Canelo counters better than GGG. Canelo has problems with fleet footed fighters not the ones who stand with him like GGG will. Triple GGG will stand there and Canelo has the faster hands.

I think if he believes in himself he gives GGG fits. GGG won't KO Canelo with one punch. It is not easy to KO other elite fighters. I think it is truly a toss up fight, and I think the edge goes to Canelo as he's been in more big fights.
