Hbo has canelo and Golovkin under contract, with the main objective is to headline PPv..

Neither guy has any options for a PPv fight except each other..

Cotto ain't rematching unless he gets 30 mil or some astronomical floyd type money

I can see hbo doing in May a split site co headliner PPV, where Canelo and ggg are on the same card but different fights. With ggg and Canelo fighting in PPv in September

Canelo-GGG is my second biggest anticipated fight for 2016, with Kovalev-Ward being atop my wish list

I am going to say no I think it will go down May of 2017. I know Canelo is going to do 1 bs fight for sure to cash in on this win. I tend to think they will go for 2 fights although that is not certain but even if they don't a lot can happen in boxing, so either way it ends up being May 2017.

Sucks for Golovkin go he went from getting jerked around by Martinez to getting jerked around by Cotto to now getting jerked around by Canelo. Also sucks for him that his biggest backer has kind of enabled him to get screwed out of the fights he wants.

I dont see it that way but if it goes that way Canelo will win an 8-4 bout, onoly rounds GGG get are the rounds he put canelo down in, GGG cant box with canelo.

Yes I personally think it will happen at the back end of 2016. But I think GGG will have to make 157-158 for sure, and he will agree to that, the opportunity is too big. These guys have sparred some rounds, so I am pretty sure it will be an interesting build up.
