Cotto is a good fighter and never was great. Cotto is the most overrated fighter of the past era. His best win was against a good but past prime Shane Mosley.

Sergio Martinez doesnt count because he had a real bad shoulder and not a fake one like #48 claimed and also had a bummed knee.

cotto lost the 4 biggest fights of his career against 4 prime opponents:marg, pac, floyd, and canelo. the biggest win of his career was martinez but that was a pretty big farce imo as martinez was crippled and clearly lost to murray. cotto has a very good win against a still good mosley and some other quality wins but yea he definitely is overrated in terms of greatness.
