    Not impressed with Canelo

You're fighting a washed up 30 year old who has been through many wars throughout his boxing career. You have youth and athleticism advantage, pretty disappointing canelo couldn't get the late TKO.

GGG will literally toy with canelo. I want to see canelo fight guys like David lemeuix and peter quillin first.

canelo has terrific upper body movement, but his footwork is very average and he only does just enough to win a round. its pretty obvious he knows that the scorecards will protect him, he just needs to land a few punches and stay on his feet

lil g's best career wins have been destroyed by a blown up 154lb fighter in Cotto and another past prime fighter in Abraham. That's 2 elite, top 5 MW fighters in Murray & Geale failing against guys that aren't even the best in their division lmao.

Canelo would destroy Lemieux like Rubio and Alcine did, he'd kill Quillin too lmao.

Canelo just has to stay on his feet and take it to the scorecards.

As long as the checks go through, he knows Oscar has his back no matter how bleak it looks.

            Oh stfu whiner

Cotto was in the best shape of his career

He never stopped bouncing around, and for the first time in his career he didn't fade in the championship rounds. and Canelo still beat him

Hes got fast hands but his shots are telegraphed, everytime he took the lead and threw first in the early rounds, cotto knew exactly where the would be landing and blocked almost all of them. He almost never feinted, the time he did start with a left hook and changed to a right uppercut... bingo he landed.

He was looking to counter with single punch counters, those landed but far and few between. His foot work isnt great but Im not worried about that because cotto got tired by the 8th round as I anticipated.

He needs better trainers that will have the common sense to tell him to feint, feint downstairs and go upstairs, vice versa. If he really wants to be good, throw punches at different speeds to keep the other guy guessing. He will get slaughtered by GGG if he doesnt work on this. His defense is already really good but hes got to be able to land his own shots as well.

He still ended up outboxing a top 10 P4P fighter who is one of the more technically sound fighters in his division. It's more of a passing of the torch than anything else really.

I didnt think so. His countering was decent, his lead punches were terrible. Once cotto gassed in the 8th round his lead punches were good but basically they were ineffective for 7 rounds, not a good thing.

You dint have to be impressed with him. In positive he's not impressed with you either. I would bet two houses on it like Freddie Roach.
