I still favor GGG by a significant margin even though Canelo does seem to be getting better with age. I don't see GGG being gun-shy against Canelo to the point where he backpedals like Cotto did. GGG and Canelo might be the same weight but GGG is the taller fighter and can cover more range with his shots and jab in particular with his reach advantage. The fact that Canelo also plants his feet so much when he throws is the reason I don't think he can't pull it off given he is the shorter fighter. Plus Canelo has shown to have a sturdy enough chin so far but GGG will easily be the biggest puncher he's faced in his career.

I'll take a window seat....I believe in the kid...he's been tested and has passed those exams....only failing the Mayweather exam, but hey, nobody passes that test no matter the hours of studying you put in lol...can't say the same for Little G...I like Nelo's chances, especially at 'Nelo Weight'

You can insult GGG by calling him little G. The fact is he keep knocking out everybody he fights and he fights 4 times a year. Big Ward is so sickly and fragile he can't even make it through a training camp without getting hurt and pulling out. When Big Ward does actually fight, which is almost never, he makes sure it's an unranked fighter in a lighter weight class that he is fighting. GGG will still be here undefeated and knocking everybody out long after Big Ward decides he doesn't like to fight and retires.

Canelo's power is overrated and his footwork and size is on par with Stevens & Lemieux. If he stays in close on GGG, he'll get Monroe'd.

Oscar needs to take his gravy train in another direction. Fight Margarito, then a couple so-so MW's like Chudinov & Heiland.

Best thing for him right now vacate the belt fight the winner of Jacobs/Quillin and Lee/Billy Joe, if he beats them go after GGG then. Hes not ready yet but if he did it now and won however that would be ultimate badda $$ery for him.

With cotto and GGG on his resume id have him as a HOF for sure, and with good names such as Trout, Lara also.
