Who does deserve a fight with Floyd??? NO ONE.....maybe you can make a argument for GGG but he needs to prove more that he can sell in both the arena where he's fighting (which he has done) but also PPV sales which he has yet to do.

Canelo was only 23 years old and he got schooled. But you can't tell me he hasn't improved leaps and bounds. Do I think he beats Floyd now? Hell no..... I think it would be more competitive though.....Canelo is a GGG fight and win away from it actually becoming a consideration to fight Money May.....He puts a$$es in seats and did good I'm sure selling PPV's for this fight.

Canelo's team acknowledged themselves that when he fought May that it wasn't a draw. Last Oscar was screwed a lot when it came down to judging himself in Vegas (Trinidad, Mosley fights especially the second) so that wouldn't matter. He has no control over judges.....don't start that ****** S___T. Mayweather is KING OF VEGAS

Mayweather won't come back just because Oscar de la Hoya has no escape plan for canelo in avoiding his mandatory with golovkin...crazy de la Hoya only last week abused Floyd and called him a coward so why on earth would he give de la Hoya a big bonanza , canelo deserved the victory last night and i had it 7 - 4 canelo with 1 even after watching the replay...he showed improvement in his stamina and defence but he moves like his feet are stuck in mud and he caught cotto with some full power shots and never hurt him one time so does he have power at middlweight.....The WBC will strip canelo if he don't face his mandatory next..if I was golovkin agree to 157 and then that's fair...golovkin still destroys canelo. War mandatory War golovkin

If Floyd was to fight again, he should let the 147 division sort itself out until a lesser alpha clearly emerges

Right now 147 is bunch of betas who are slow to fight each other

Throughout his career, yes. Since the Mayweather fight, he hasn't. I would say marginal at best.

More importantly, the things he would need to improve on to beat Mayweather(stamina and footwork) I've seen hardly any improvement.

Oscar is so f u c k d up! Floyd was too quick for Pac, what made him think Canelo has a chance if they fight again other than trying to Rob Floyd again...Canelo is bigger but he is way too slow. Floyd is TBE and they all had their chance but right, Golovkin is the man.

Let them fight at 160 and it's an even bout.

But still, Canelo vs Golovkin's just so much more interesting.

Floyd at the end of the day is a business man. I know he gave Berto a donation fight (no offense Berto) but Floyd took a lot of heat for that.

The welterweight division as talented and as stacked as they are don't generate Big Time money. There's a reason why they get paid over a million (Not knocking that because most fighters don't) compared to the likes of Pac, Canelo who make 8 figures a fight. GGG will eventually join them in getting paid like that.

Just saying Floyd is looking for another 9 figure pay day. Wait and see approach

Go and make Canelo vs GGG. Floyd retired already and plus this peformance from Canelo was nothing special to be talking about a Floyd rematch. Had Canelo stopped Cotto or atleast score a few knock downs then maybe a rematch with Floyd would sound more intriguing.
