This version of Cotto is rejuvenated and his level of fitness has gone up since the Floyd fight. This version of Cotto would beat Floyd in a rematch. Don't get it twisted. The only reason Cotto lost the first fight is because he gassed. This version of Cotto doesn't and his punch is back. Canelo was just too big. Floyd is not. Floyd's punch resistance has gone down and Cotto is clearly better than him at this stage of their careers. Canelo won that fight 116-112. There is no controversy over who won, at all. Canelo has arrived. Give him the credit he deserves.

If you recall, Mayweather beat Canelo 12-0 when they fought. However the judges saw it 8-4 6-6 9-3 and that was when a Pacquiao fight was still in the pipeline.

There is no way Mayweather gets a decision against Canelo if they fought a rematch.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed the shadiness of all 3 scorecards for that fight. I agree. Cotto needed to pitch clear a 12-0 victory as he did to get the win.

I commend cotto but when he tried to exchange he landed nothing and took a lot. Hi movement and jab was not effective enough to win rounds. If Canelo had Margaritos desire for destruction, he kos him.
