It was a robbery, not because Canelo won as I had it 7-5 Cotto but I could easily see it going the other way by the same margin but the judges had Nelo winning by margins of 6-7 rounds...how? It's like they had no intention of scoring the fight.

Someone explain how Canelo won the majority of rounds from 1-6? Canelo was being out thrown, out landed and was missing wildly with his own shots. He did well in rounds 7,8 and 9 and you'd have to give him the 12th. I gave Canelo the first too, just a slight edge.

    That was ridiculous scoring.

It defies belief how the judges saw it so wide. I had money on Canelo, but I was sure he lost 7-5 or 8-4. To see one of the judges have it for Canelo 11-1 is insane.

The only time Canelo had any success was when Cotto stood in front of him, which only happened in a couple of rounds. For the most part, Cotto was picking Canelo apart with his jab.

What worries is that the margins the judges had it by clearly shows they weren't watching the fight and it was a foregone conclusion that canelo wins. Meaning that anyone hoping to get a victory over Canelo at Vegas not named Mayweather will have to knock him out...twice smh lol

If you recall, Mayweather beat Canelo 12-0 when they fought. However the judges saw it 8-4 6-6 9-3 and that was when a Pacquiao fight was still in the pipeline.

There is no way Mayweather gets a decision against Canelo if they fought a rematch.

Canelo barely landed a punch for the first half of the fight and ate jabs all night long. I will admit I was wanting cotto to win from the opening bell, so I don't know if it's all in my head. But I thought cotto scored the majority of punches and did enough to win. I was dissapointed in canelos performance as it was only the second time I had ever seen him fight. All the hype about Alvarez over the years I expected a superstar. But he could barely land a punch till late in the fight. But he does seem to posses good power and some skills.
